Aisha Jamila is an American actor who is most well known for her roles in TV series The Shield and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003, she has demonstrated her abilities as an actress, delivering stunning performances on television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 as well as Under the Dome. The first time she was noticed was in 2005 due to her role as Anna that was on Assault on Precinct 13 The film was her performance in the role of Fannie Lou (a women's activist for right to rights) in the biographical All the Way film that earned her the attention of an actor. Her father Krishnaraj died in the month of March following a lengthy career as a scientist for the Indian Army. Vrinda, her mother is a domestic worker. Aditya is her elder brother who is also an engineer for merchant ships. The older brother of Bachchan's Aditya is wrote and co-produced Dil Ka Rishta along with their mother. Arya Vidya Mandir School was her school of choice located in Mumbai after moving to Mumbai with her family. After finishing her studies for intermediate through Jai Hind College, she was accepted into D.G. Ruparel College Matunga was where she was awarded a mark of 90% for her H.S.C. exams. She spent the first five years during her teenage years studying classical dance and music. Zuology was Bachchan's favorite subject. Bachchan at the time, in the process of studying architecture, was named Miss World in the year 1994. It was a title that brought her into the fast lane of modeling. Her lucrative jobs for PepsiCo Inc. & Vogue magazine as well as her spokesmodel agreement with L'Oreal Paris were all rewarded in 2003. The two first films of her professional career were Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya and Iruvar. The success of Bachchan's New Bollywood was boosted by the fact that both of these films differed from the traditional Bollywood model. It was a dance and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. That was when Bachchan brought her star power as well as beauty into her first major film in English. In the months before releasing Provoked: A True Story 2006 in English and then returning to Bollywood to star on Dhoom: 2 (2006 smash film). She married Abhishek Bachchan, co-star who is the daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage has brought two of India's most prominent people to one another.
